The sheets have come off the all-new Škoda Elroq, which is the Czech brand’s first all-electric model in the compact SUV category. It will be available on European markets from the first quarter of 2025.

The model has three different battery sizes from 55 to 82 kWh and outputs ranging from 125 kW to 210 kW.

The versions with the largest lithium-ion battery offer a range of more than 560 kilometres on the WLTP cycle and reach a top speed of 180 km/h.

Its features includes a rear-view camera, remote air-conditioning, Crew Protect Assist, Side Assist, and a 13-inch infotainment screen.

Laura – its digital voice assistant - offers an extended range of functions courtesy of the integration of ChatGPT.

The ChatGPT software enables Laura to answer general knowledge questions in addition to controlling vehicle infotainment, navigation and climate control systems.

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, says: “The Škoda Elroq is our first BEV model in the compact SUV class, the fastest‑growing and most popular sub‑segment in Europe. The Elroq stands out as our first model to adopt the Modern Solid design language, defined by robustness, functionality and new visual accents such as the black Tech Deck Face. A wide choice of battery sizes and an excellent drag coefficient enable a range of more than 560 kilometres."

He adds: "The standard equipment package is extensive, including multiple state‑of‑the-art assistance systems. At a very competitive starting price of around 33,000 euros in selected European markets, the Elroq is the most affordable vehicle in its segment across Europe, achieving price parity with its ICE counterpart in many markets.”
