A Milestone For NIO as Its 100,000th Vehicle Rolls Off The Production Line in China

NIO’s 100,000th mass-produced vehicle has rolled off the JAC-NIO Hefei Advanced Manufacturing Centre’s production line in China. At the roll-off ceremony, representatives of the early ES8, ES6, and EC6 users joined together to welcome the user of the 100,000th NIO car to the NIO community.
From May 27, 2018, when the first mass-produced ES8 rolled off the line, to April 7, 2021, it took NIO just 1,046 days to complete the production of 100,000 smart electric vehicles, with an average price of RMB 428,000.
NIO says it will ‘continue to build on its global-leading innovation capabilities, launch more cutting-edge smart electric vehicles and technologies, and offer users an experience that exceeds expectations’.
In January, 2021, NIO launched its first autonomous driving model, NIO ET7, a smart electric flagship sedan. The ET7 features NIO’s latest NAD (NIO Autonomous Driving) technology including NIO Aquila Super Sensing and NIO Adam Super Computing.
