Geely Group & Baidu Introduce JI YUE, a new Premium Intelligent Mobility Brand

Geely Holding Group, China’s leading privately-owned automotive group, and Baidu Inc have unveiled JI YUE, a premium intelligent technology brand. The partnership combines Geely Holding’s automotive manufacturing expertise, including the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) and an established supply chain, with Baidu’s artificial intelligence technologies, including advanced intelligent cabins and autonomous driving.
The flagship JI YUE 01 model will offer autonomous mobility solutions for tech-orientated consumers in China.
The JI YUE 01’s will make its market debut in Q4, 2023.
Beyond overseeing sales, services, and marketing for the 01, JI YUE will also build and develop its own charging network in China to meet consumer demand for smart intelligent electric vehicles.
In January, 2021, the two companies established a strategic partnership focusing on the development of connected and intelligent electric vehicles.
Baidu’s portfolio of technologies includes Apollo autonomous driving, DuerOS for Apollo, and Baidu Maps.
Geely Holding is the parent company of brands including Volvo Cars, Lynk & Co and LEVC, and the lead shareholder in Geely Auto, Proton and Lotus.
