Honda Premieres the e:N2 Concept, a new EV Model for China

Honda has unviled the e:N2 Concept, the second EV model series for the Chinese market. The world premiere was held at the Fifth China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

The e:N2 Concept is built on the e:N Architecture F, a dedicated architecture developed exclusively for the e:N Series.

The model's digital cockpit offers occupants the latest Honda CONNECT features.

Starting with e:NS1 and e:NP1, Honda will introduce 10 e:N Series models by 2027 in China. 

Honda envisions exporting these models from China. 

All new models Honda will introduce in China after 2030 will be electrified, such as hybrid (HEVs) and EVs.

Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., a Honda automobile production and sales joint venture in China, began sales of the  e:NS1 in April, 2022. 

Toshihiro Mibe, Director, President and Representative Executive Officer at Honda Motor Co, Ltd says: “The e:N2 Concept represents the value of our e:N Series, which will ‘redefine the fun EVs can offer to customers’ with their unique driving pleasure, the value as a mobility space and design. In China, Honda will continue delivering a broad range of electrified mobility products unique only to Honda and experience our rebirth into an electric mobility brand.”

As part of the e:N Series lineup, Honda is currently developing three concept models, e:N COUPE Concept, e:N SUV Concept and e:N GT Concept, with a goal to start sales of these new models within the next 5 years.
