Jaguar Unveils Type 00

Jaguar has unveiled the all-electric concept car, the Type 00 at Miami Art Week. The production car will be an electric four‑door GT – to be revealed in late 2025 and it will built in the UK.

The new model will use dedicated Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA) and target a range of up to 770km WLTP (478 miles) and 430 miles (692km) EPA.

321km (200 miles) of charge can be added in as little as 15 minutes.

The world premiere of the Type 00 follows the launch of a new visual identity in November, 2024.

Jaguar is part of Jaguar Land Rover, which is owned by Tata Motors.

Adrian Mardell, Chief Executive Officer, JLR, says: "The magic of Jaguar is close to my heart – an original British luxury brand unmatched in its heritage, artistry and emotional magnetism. That’s the Jaguar we are recapturing and we will create the same sense of awe that surrounded iconic models like the E‑type. Our journey is already underway, guided by our original ethos to Copy Nothing – and the results will be spectacular.”

Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar, adds: "We have forged a fearlessly creative new character for Jaguar that is true to the DNA of the brand but future facing, relevant and one that really stands out."
