Sweden's CAKE Launches Full Production Line for Bukk Electric Off-Road Motorcycle

CAKE, the Swedish maker of premium lightweight electric motorcycles, has unveiled the Bukk platform, a highly customisable version of the Limited Edition Bukk electric off-road performance motorcycle that was launched in November of 2022. Featuring an Internal Permanent Magnet motor maxing at 16kW, and the quick swap 72V battery, the Bukk delivers 456 Nm of instant torque accelerating from 0-45 km/h in 2.15 seconds.

CAKE says the Bukk is the latest example of its commitment to combine riding pleasure with responsibility in the drive towards a zero-emission society. 

The name Bukk means Thunder Cloud in the ancient language from the island of Gotland.

Gotland is CAKE’s testing ground for of all its products.

CAKE's model range currently consists of four different platforms – off-roaders, like the Bukk, the modular utility bike Ösa, the urban commuter Makka, and the e-bike Åik.
