Tesla has delivered Cybertrucks to its first customers at its headquarters in Austin, Texas. It has also released more spec details of the new vehicle.
The Cybertuck offers 11,000 lbs towing capacity and 2,500 lbs max payload. It offers an estimated 340 miles of range, and goes from 0-60 in 2.6 seconds with a Tri Motor.
If the grid goes down, Cybertruck can provide up to 11.5 kW of power directly to the owner's home.
It has an ultra-hard stainless steel exoskeleton and shatter-resistant Armor Glass which can resist the impact of a baseball at 70 mph.
it also features a 18.5” touchscreen in the front and 9.4” touchscreen in the back with a new user interface.
On its website, Tesla states: 'Go 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds in Beast mode while maintaining high-speed stability with steer-by-wire and reat sterring. You get the handling of a sports car and better turing radius than most sedans'.
On X, Elon Musk posted: 'Massive congrats to the incredible Tesla team, from design through to manufacturing, for making Cybertruck real! I love you'.
The cost of the Tesla Cybertruck is $49,890 for the rear-wheel drive, and $68,890 for the all-wheel drive.
