Winnebago Industries to Acquire US Lithium-ion Battery Solutions Provider Lithionics Battery

Winnebago Industries, Inc. an outdoor lifestyle product manufacturer, is to acquire Lithionics Battery, a US lithium-ion battery solutions provider to recreational equipment and specialty vehicle markets. The addition of Florida-based Lithionics will provide Winnebago Industries with the engineering capabilities to offer consumers more differentiated electrified products.

Its lithium-ion batteries leverage voltage stability, long life expectancy, lighter construction and the highest energy densities possible to provide safe, efficient and cost-effective electrification solutions. 

Founded in 2010, Lithionics supports a variety of outdoor products including RVs, boats, specialty and other low-speed vehicles, as well as other industrial applications. 

Using a proprietary Battery Management System called NeverDie Technology, it offers a broad range of standard and custom-designed battery configurations.
